”FOLDER” is a system to fold head, sides and tail of leathers as a “book” or as a
“cube”, it is a separated implantation which can be linked to every type of standard
or compact stackers or to stacker for selection too.
Folding takes place by synchronized mechanical arms with eccentrical lever, the
number of leathers to be folded can be set out from a min. of 1 to a max. of 25,
as per your exigency and leathers’ type.
There are 4 models of FOLDER:
FOLDER-1F (leathers are folded in their middle-point, to make pallets of
1500x2500mm).
FOLDER-2F (leathers are folded on the sides, to make pallets of
1000/1100x2500mm).
FOLDER-3F (leathers are folded on the sides and on the head, to make pallers of
1000/1100x2000mm).
FOLDER-4F (leathers are folded on the sides, on the head and on the tail, to
make pallets of 1100x1100mm).
Every FOLDER (if folder is linked to stackers for selection, it is possible to put one
or more folder) is composed by a lifting table put under Folder’ structure,
longitudinally respect the stacker, which adjusts the height of the pallet by reading
through electrical photosensors. On the upper part of the lifting table there is a
parapet that can be closed and opened. When the set out number of leathers has
been achieved, the two parapets close and open, the lifting table rises on folds’
extremities and it reaches the same level of folded leathers package, in order to
create a plane in which leathers are extended, till the max. height of loading.
Then it lowers, to allow the unloading of folded leathers, and to start in this way the
making of a new package.
