This modern stacker-grouper has been projected to be used either as a traditional stacker
with the deposit of the hides on pallet or horse, through the use of the various deposit
programs, and as a bundle preparation-grouping unit, depending on the grouping program
selected on the control panel.
The complete automation of the machine’s various controls permits the operator to pass
from the traditional stacker (deposit of hides either on pallet or horse) to the phase of
preparation or grouping of hides by bundle through the utilisation of only 5 electrical
controls, on the control panel, in the following sequence: press the stop button, if the
machine is operating, select Program 7 or 8 and the number of the working method
previously memorised, depending on the kind of hides to be worked, then press the button
of conveyor-belt exit, finally press the march button.
The machine will automatically begin grouping and depositing the hides, ready to be
bound, put on pallets and sent.
In addition, the presence of an automatic device provides the possibility to attach the
measurement tags to the final hide in each single bundle.
