This machine has been projected to impart high gloss, smooth and at the same time pleasant
feel to goat-, sheep-, calf- and pig- skins, as well as all kind of side leathers finished either for
shoe uppers, clothing, glove or leather goods purposes.
It has been recently increased with further technological innovations; the unit is supplied with
hydraulic servo-mechanisms which provides constant and highly effective service.
It’s extremely strongly built; all moving parts are either on ball or roller bearings, and those are
internally lubricated.
The ironing cylinder comes with a hardened chrome layer, polished to high gloss.
This cylinder can be heated to 200°C or more, through electrically warmed circulating oil,
assuring both best ironing characteristics and the cross-linking, wherever desired, of certain
finish binders.
The temperature is controlled by a thermostat or by digital instrument on request, and it’s
constantly maintained even over the whole surface of the cylinder.
By means of a special spreading roller, all pleats are eliminated, even when working with napa
leathers.
The degree of gloss of leathers can be varied both by hydraulically changing the pressure
applied and by speed variation; so as the distance between the rollers is variable through a
micrometer control which will even permit achievement of a top glazing effect.
The leathers processed through this machine can be worked either when fed in or when coming
out or, indeed, both ways with instant changing of the rotation of the cylinders (retorsa).
The pedal control of the hydraulic servo-system used to open and close the machine are
strongly built, extremely fast and easy to operate.
All control switches are ergonomically placed, to make the operators working as easy as
possible.
The machine is supplied with safety guards which operate on touch and stop the machine
instantly, thus eliminating all possibility of accident.
Through its design and construction, this machine provides increased productivity and improved
quality. It’s undoubtedly the most up to date machine of its kind on the market.
