MM Meggiolaro was born in 1969 from the determination of brothers Sergio and Giovanni Meggiolaro to improve and automate leather processing operations in tanneries.
The company, located in one of the most important tanning districts, initially focused on the production of stackers, lifting platforms, trestles, and conveyors for the tanning industry. Thanks to the founders’ commitment and determination, it quickly expanded abroad, becoming a reliable and well-known point of reference in the world of automation.
Over the years Sergio’s heirs, Daniele and Michela, have joined their uncle Giovanni in the leadership of the company, carrying on with him the family spirit of the company and the continuous research for new technological solutions that allow MM Meggiolaro to develop more and more.
Precision, experience, and a strong focus on meeting customer needs have allowed MM Meggiolaro to successfully expand its range of products and enter various sectors. Today, its stackers, lifting platforms, and conveyors are also used in the food, seafood, textile, metallurgical, construction industries, and many other fields.
The Company works towards top quality service and offers customized products, starting from the planning, followed step by step by the internal technical office, the production, composed of qualified technicians with long experience, to the installation service and the after sale assistance, carried out by specialized technicians.

MM Meggiolaro, a leading company in the production of tannery automation systems, has always stood out for its reliability, responsiveness, and readiness to help.
These qualities, combined with the determination of partners Daniele and Michela Meggiolaro, have made it possible to achieve an important new milestone: the expansion of the company with the construction of a new warehouse, completed in the very year the company celebrates 55 years of activity, and built next to the historic headquarters. This expansion provides the company with an additional 1,000 m² for the final assembly and installation of machinery, as well as a dedicated area for the new offices.
“We want to send a positive message despite the current global economic uncertainty,” say Daniele and Michela. “We have invested heavily in this project, both financially and mentally, but to look toward the future, new technologies and new projects in the form of research, improvements, and investments are essential,” they conclude.
Precisely with regard to new technological projects, the company boasts, among others, the new Folder System and the new Stand with Liftable Platform:
The new Folder System is a mechanism installed beneath the discharge area of the Stacking Cart, allowing finished soft hides to be folded into packs of 1 to 5 for subsequent rolling by the operators. Its main advantage is automatic folding that is perfectly aligned along the center.
The new Stand with Liftable Platform, on the other hand, makes it possible to raise the hides placed on the stand to the desired height, ensuring optimal ergonomics for the operators.
